Cooking Lessons at Vikings!

Hi foodies, wanna be foodies, haters and lovers!

vikinglogo.thumbnail Cooking Lessons at Vikings!

I’ve been working some time now on securing a spot as a cooking instructor at the Vikings School here in Atlanta, and finally today I got an email confirming! I’m sooo excited. Because, por fin, I get to teach my friends, and complete strangers, how to be like ME!!!

Okay sike! EGO talking… for real though… as of next month I’ll be teaching classes at The Viking Cooking School, instructing on all things Cuban, Latin fusion and always sexy cool! Food and I ARE included! (though you can’t take me home).

I’ve not decided what my first class is going to be on or what we’re going to cook but rest assured it’s something you will be talking about long after you’ve left. Something you’ll be talking about in your sleep. But don’t you worry married folks–the wifey or hubby will not worry about why you didn’t answer your office phone for more than 3 hours. Your REM name calling won’t be questioned. The rule: you must follow through with surprising them with a newly and unexpected dinner– you will be forgiven for going incognito.

1st Class : March 24th, 11-2 pm 6th, 6-9 pm. Details to follow in a later post (click at the top of the page for all details). Email for any information or early registration. Only 12 spots open.

And for you lovers that celebrate Valentine’s Day… do you want to do something really cool and totally surprising for your honey!??!

PRIVATE IN-HOME COOKING LESSONS!

If you’re really up for something different, email me and we’ll talk about coming over and giving you a quick private lesson on Latin cooking…food ideas, cooking tips, dress code tips, do’s and dont’s for that night, seduction advisories and full credit for you having cooked dinner are ALL included! Think FLAN, mango/cilantro halibut with a cognac reduction sauce, garlic infused tostones (green plantain); or a savory black bean dish with pulled flank steak??? YOU DECIDE.

**ATLians only need apply**

What a better way to show them you love them, really love them; (and didn’t mean all those mean things you said just 3 nights ago…behind his/her back). tif tif. She/he will love you for it and you just might get some *desert* that night…no thanks to me though icon smile Cooking Lessons at Vikings!

Off I go to menu planning. I’m conjuring up some sexy things now. Gotta get in my right mind…

***QUESTION OF THE DAY***

What menu would you like to see taught and learn to cook on my debut cooking instructions at Viking!?!? Intro to Latin Food, Basics, Elaborate, Savory, Sweet, Cocktails, Appetizers, Tapas, etc.. I’m wide open to suggestions! Please do tell. I look forward to your feedback! Holla.

Wow this is exciting!!! Can’t wait. Wish I was in the area for this. Being in *funchester*, we have nothing like that at all here. Country living at best! Any chance you’ll be bringing this to any other areas/cities? Possible tour?? Wishful thinking, but it would be a great idea!! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!!! This site just keeps me wanting to come back for more!!!

Something classic Cuban, not too fancy, something that illustrates the “prinicples” behind Cuban cuisine. You know what I mean?

    Congrats on the new gig!

Congrats on the cooking teaching! Wish I lived in Atlanta!

    Bren,
You make us want to eat, live, and love latin style! Keep up the great work and congrats on your new found success. Let us know when you teach on the west coast, we’ll be there!

Thank you for stopping by at my blog, it was extremely busy week for me (retouching) that is why I just check comments and read blogs only today.

    Have a great weekend, Margot
