Atlanta Foodie Christmas & Holiday Gift Guide For The Last Minute Shopper!

ATLfoodiegiftguide Atlanta Foodie Christmas & Holiday Gift Guide For The Last Minute Shopper!

Who hasn’t finished their shopping? And who hasn’t started?! *Raises hand* I haven’t! I’m the absolute biggest procrastinator when it comes to Christmas shopping. There are about 10 on my list and that’s just family.

I’ll get to them this week, I swear. In the meantime, I’ve been doing some fabulously delicious tastings and personally handpicking items for the foodie on your list. If you’re in Atlanta for the holidays and are still scratching your head, perusing the aisles and temporarily placing things in your online shopping cart, check out these wonderful things that’ll fill up the gourmand in your life.

If you love food, surely you’ve been to Star Provisions, a quaint front-end market  filled with specialty products and unique gifts. Earlier last week I enjoyed tasting cheeses, chocolates, honey and other yumminess. I then moseyed on over to Market, the farm table and rustic dining area of Parish restaurant. Not quite as big as Star, but still a great place to find distinct gifts and edible goodies you can’t find at your local grocer.

I assure you every item will make a  great stocking stuffer! Go ahead, I’ve already tasted for you. 100% gift proof! No re-gifting here!

1. Monogram linens. These tickled my fancy as soon a I saw them. For those that like personalized gifts, Leontine Linens offers a sexy collection of napkins, table cloths and even bed linens. $70. 2. Sweet Grass Dairy soft-ripened goat’s milk cheese from a local farm. Star Provisions, $12. 3. Iced coffee by Whynatte Latte. Now comes in a 4-pack. Throughout Atlanta and online, $7.49 retail, $10 online including shipping. 4. Macchiato soap bar. Not to be eaten, but definitely smells of lovely coffee. Youngblood Gallery, $5. 5. B.R. Cohn champagne vinegar. Market (at Parish restaurant), $11. 6. Phickles pickled vegetables. Locally grown and jarred. Simply delicious! Star Provisions, $5-$10. 7. Golden Honey. Great on cheese! Star Provisions, $11. 8. Artisan chocolate from Nashville. Mexican style cinnamon dark bar by Olives & Sinclair. Star Provisions, $6.25. 9. Mid-waist rolling ping oatmeal apron by local designer Ashley Leckie. Recently featured on The Martha Stewart Show.  Ice Milk Aprons, $55. 10. Olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Buy and refill later. Ariston specialty oils & vinegars, Market, $10-14. 11. Chocolove chocolate bars in toffee almond, raspberries in dark chocolate and 55% dark chocolate. Market, $5. 12.
