CaboarchOct09 A Brief Introduction to my Cabo San Lucas Culinary Series & A Picture Giveaway!(taken while on sailboat ride)

Last October, I spent the most fabulous 4 days being a sexy gourmand in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose, Mexico.

I went to an organic farm, ate at 7 gourmet restaurants, visited 5-5 star resorts, did an art crawl, took a cooking class by a French expat chef and basked in a hot yet breezy afternoon sailboat ride, offering incredible Mexican fare for lunch.

You may know I go there quite a bit, and actually just recently returned from another extraordinary press trip to the Mayan Riviera region, near Cancun.

As I prepare to go to Cabo, yet again in just 3 weeks, I want to give you a prelim view of the upcoming series I’m publishing on the Gourmet Cuisine themed trip late last year. Because it was 90% about food, I didn’t miss a beat taking pictures of everything I laid my eyes on. That being said, I’m almost done processing hundreds of pictures;  and then the elimination begins.

In the meantime, enjoy this shot of one of the most delicioso treats I had while we were there. It was so good and refreshing and like little I’d had before, I wanted to lust over it  every day. So, I printed the picture, framed it and it now hangs in my kitchen.

I want you to have it, too! If you can guess what it is, I will send you an 8×10, matte  or glossy copy of it for you to hang along with the recipe, courtesy of the genius chef!

That’s if you like it!

How to guess & win! Give me Email me (bren at flanboyanteats dot com) your most educated and skilled guess based on color, texture, plating and whatever else you see in there. Tell me first what it is (ie, sauce, shooter, soup, drink, cocktail, etc…) and then 3 ingredients you think it’s made with.  Leave a comment letting me know you sent the email. Lastly, tweet it with an @brenherrera mention so that I know you did and leave another comment letting me know you did so. That will give you a 2nd entry.

I’m so curious to know what you come up with! You have until July 18th, 11:59pm EST to guess. I’ll announce the winner on Twitter.

Look, pretend you’re tasting and GO!

Happy guessing!
